A New Project....

Because I am new to both sewing and quilting I decided to start a Tuesday night beginners class at The Cloth Shop which runs for six weeks. I missed the first class as I had my day mixed up and nearly forgot to go yesterday! So I sprinted to my scrappy fabric pile and picked a handful of blue fabric before heading out of the door with my sewing machine.
Here is what I created last night! 

I might get the nerve to sew more points now. The idea of sewing triangles used to freak me out.
